Divín castle
It is located above the village of Divín, approximately 20 km from the town of Lučenec.
Divín Castle was probably built at the turn of the 13th and 14th centuries. The purpose of Divín Castle was to protect the road to the Central Slovak mining area. It was mentioned for the first time in 1329. According to some records, it was built by the Losonci noble family from nearby Lučenac.
A red tourist sign leads directly from the village to the castle. You are up within 10 minutes by foot. The route is easy and partly barrier-free. There is a route around the entire castle, so you can see it from all angles.
