Wooden articular church Hronsek
There are 5 Wooden Articular Churches in Slovakia. One of these five churches is located in a small village near Banská Bystrica called Hronsek.
These unique wooden churches are very important national cultural monuments. Articular churches were built of wood without the use of a single nail.
The church in Hronsek, was built in 1726. There are 1100 seats inside of this church all with a perfect view of the altar. Wooden church in Hronsek has a floor plan in the shape of a cross, and you can enter it through five entrances. The altar is surrounded by six replaceable images that according to the current liturgy. There is also a bell tower, which was built in 1726. In Hronsek you can also find a mansion and a lowland castle.
